Straight to the Poynt

I'll get straight to the "poynt"...
I miss writing.

I write for no other reason than to get my thoughts out of my head.

I can be funny.  Most times I'm serious.
I like to sing along with the radio and pull every dance move I know (it's a very limited number of moves) when my husband or children are around but you will probably never hear me sing or see me dance.
I'm introverted.
I'm full of anxiety and worry way too much about what other people think.

I have strong opinions about a lot of things but I never EVER intend to hurt others with my opinions.  I try to keep those in check.

I love my children, I love my husband, I love HIS children and his grandchildren.
I like to learn.  I constantly "google" to learn more about what I'm watching reading or thinking.

I like to read.  Currently I have two books started: Crazy Rich Asians and Girl Wash Your Face.  I just finished Dear Bob and Sue.
I like to pin things on Pinterest.  There are tons of recipes I will never make; crafts I will never craft; gifts I will never buy; furniture I'll never paint; rooms I'll never decorate; a house I'll never renovate; see a theme here?

I absolutely love my job at Nightlight Christian Adoptions.  I'm pro-life for the whole life!
I have very conservative values.
I love Jesus and I struggle daily to keep him FIRST in my life.
I am a work in progress.

I've had a few blogs through the years.
To Eden for Edison was about Edison's adoption journey.
There was one about my divorce.
I had one about raising a Toddler, a Teen and a Tween all at once.
And then Dana's Different Directions came about - it was full of feelings and existed through the craziness of my history.

I'm at a new stage in life.
I'm happily married.  Life is a little less crazy - finally.
I'm making some big changes in my life and I plan to talk about them here.

I want to lose weight - I'm determined to make it happen and I hope this will help keep me accountable.
I'm going back to school in January.
My kids still keep me busy - not so much with running anymore but with worry.  I definitely like to write about them!
Mike and I enjoy traveling and taking long weekends together - we also like to go mudding.
I like to share adoption stories and advocate for kids in need of family!
I have a cat and I may even share a story or two about her.

Who knows what my "poynt" may be?  There may be no "poynt" to it at all.
